Bruno Mars for Wal-mart Soundcheck

Doo-Wops and Hooligans by Bruno Mars has easily become one of my favorite albums of the year. His voice is awesome and he really has a gift for melody. Something about the whole thing just really seems honest and connects with me. His hits with Travie McCoy and B.O.B. landed him on the charts but his own material is equally strong.
Anyway, the two videos below are from Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for Wal-mart Soundcheck’s Risers series. Love it.


I love Grenade. It's nice to see a man sing about a relationship lacking reciprocity. Those tracks always come from female vocalists. It's not like men don't have feelings too.

Nothing on You

He really is a refreshing artist to me [despite his drug problems...ugh]. I hope he sticks around for a while.
