Tim Wise Tackles White Privilege

Activist and writer Tim Wise has a thing or two to say about race relations in America. His book White Like Me: Reflections on Race from a Privileged Son chronicles the roots of white privilege and the facts and myths surrounding it.
Between Barack and a Hard Place is his book about America's state of denial and the false belief that Obama's election signaled the end of racial disparity.

Below is a video of the polarizing figure speaking in a scene taken from the DVD The Pathology of Privilege: Racism, White Denial & the Costs of Inequality.
His speech is not confrontational but informative and thought provoking. He challenges the defensive nature of whites when discussing race and reflects on the damages of white supremacy on whites, not focusing merely on the effect on blacks.

Wouldn't you love to lock him in a room with Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck? Oh to be a fly on the wall there...
